Webinar: Cardiac Ageing – Monday 30 March 2026

Join Professor Paul Bannon, Professor Sean Lal and Dr Cassandra Malecki for a webinar which outlines our research into human cardiac ageing at The Baird Institute’s Centre for Heart Failure and Diseases of the Aorta.

Our goal with this project is to create the first molecular study of human heart and aortic ageing, whereby we analyse every gene, protein, and enzyme in the samples in the Sydney Heart Bank to create an online, freely available resource of human heart and aortic ageing for Australian and international researchers. We will use this data to then develop and test molecular therapies to potentially reverse age-related changes in the heart and the aorta, thereby preventing age related heart and aortic disease.

  2. Scroll down towards the end of the page to the MY CROWDRAISER box.  Click on the button “CrowdRaise Now”.
  3. Create your CrowdRaiser. Fill in the requested details.
  4. Customise your campaign. Add images and messages to make your CrowdRaiser unique.
  5. Share the link to your fundraising page via email, social media, or any way you like.
  6. Let us know via [email protected] that you have created a fundraiser so we can say thank you.
