In this webinar, Dr. Hume and Professor Bannon will provide an update on their continuing research at the Centre for Heart Failure and Diseases of the Aorta into cutting edge artery replacements. Thanks to the kindness of our supporters, we’re now able to take significant steps forward in our research, beginning advanced imaging studies, including CT 2D and 3D angiograms, as well as critical ultrasound-based experiments, all essential tools in assessing how our degradable artery grafts are performing.
Our team has also been diligently preparing tissue samples for microscope analysis, allowing us to gain deeper insights into the cellular structure of the grafts. In parallel, we’re working on new designs of the synthetic artery – each version aiming to improve upon the last as we refine their structure and performance.
